I used this converter to convert an avi file of a 3D video where you can see both left and right frames on the 3DS. After the conversion was finished, I opened it on my computer and saw 2 separate windows open, one for each eye, instead of one window with 2 screens.
This is a post I decided to make to make the working version of Shovel Knight for the 3ds more findable. Shovel Knight has been on 4.1 for the 3ds for awhile. All of the versions on the common cia websites do not have update 4.1. I have found 2 that have version 4.0 (King of Cards) but pretty much every version out there is not. What You NeedNote that the following required file named secret_sector.bin is the same one that was found in the various data_input.zip file versions. If you already have that file on your disk somewhere, you can use that one instead of downloading the one below.
Note that, only on New 3DS, secret_sector.bin is needed to revert the arm9loaderhax exploit, which is why it is not needed for the installation of boot9strap on a stock console. If you do not have a New 3DS, you do not need secret_sector.bin.

InstructionsSection I - Prep WorkFor all steps in this section, overwrite any existing files on your SD card.
Power off your device
Insert your SD card into your computer
Copy boot.firm and boot.3dsx from the latest version Luma3DS .zip to the root of your SD card
Copy arm9loaderhax.bin from the v7.0.5 Luma3DS .7z to the root of your SD card
Delete any existing .bin payloads in the /luma/payloads/ folder on your SD card as they will not be compatible with boot9strap compatible Luma3DS versions
Copy SafeB9SInstaller.bin from the SafeB9SInstaller .zip to the /luma/payloads/ folder on your SD card
Create a folder named boot9strap on the root of your SD card
Copy boot9strap.firm and boot9strap.firm.sha from the boot9strap .zip to the /boot9strap/ folder on your SD card
New 3DS Users Only: Copy secret_sector.bin to the /boot9strap/ folder on your SD card
Reinsert your SD card into your device
Section II - Installing boot9strapBoot your device while holding (Start) to launch SafeB9SInstaller If you see the luma configuration screen instead of SafeB9SInstaller, simply press (Start), then shutdown your 3DS and try again
If this gives you an error, try either using a new SD card, or formatting your current SD card (backup existing files first)
Wait for all safety checks to complete If you get an “OTP Crypto Fail” error, download  - aeskeydb.bin, then put it in the /boot9strap/ folder on your SD card and try again
When prompted, input the key combo given to install boot9strap
Once it has completed, press (A) to reboot your device. If your device shuts down on boot, ensure that you have copied boot.firm from the Luma3DS .zip to the root of your SD card
Section III - Configuring Luma3DSIn the Luma3DS configuration menu, use the (A) button and the D-Pad to turn on the following: “Show NAND or user string in System Settings”
Press (Start) to save and reboot

Refer to threeSD Quickstart Guide for importing your installed titles, updates, DLCs, save data, extra data, system files, etc. Note that you’ll still need a hacked 3DS with GodMode9 to obtain your keys so that threeSD can decrypt the data on your SD card.

Required tools

For cia installation, transfer the cia file to the SD card and install it with a cia installer such as FBI. For Rosalina-based Homebrew Launcher, transfer the 3dsx file to /3ds/ on the SD card. Hax-based Homebrew Launchers are not supported by Checkpoint.

Transferring Save Data3ds To Cia Converter Operation Failed FileOpen Checkpoint. If this is the first time launching Checkpoint, it may take a considerably longer than usual depending on the amount of installed titles.
Highlight the game you want to dump by navigating to it with the D-pad.
Press A and select Backup on the bottom screen. You will be prompted Yes or No. Select Yes by pressing A.
You will have the option to name the save folder. Name it whatever you want or use the name given to it. Press OK on the bottom screen.
The top screen will flash a message Success! Progress correctly saved to disk. Exit out of Checkpoint.
Transfer all files located in /3ds/Checkpoint/saves/[Game Name]/[Folder created in Step 4] to the computer.
Place the files in Citra’s emulated SD card’s save directory. You can open the save directory by right-clicking on a game in Citra and clicking “Open Save Data Directory”. If the directory doesn’t exist, start the game once and the directory will be created.
